    • Notes for SUSAN PEARL OLDHAM: AN ARTICLE TAKEN FROM A NEWS PAPER ON THE MARRIAGE OF JESSE AND SUSAN. On Wednesday, June 22, at high noon, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Dorcas, in the presence of a few special friends, ocurred the marriage of Mr. C. Jesse Kephart and Miss Susan Pearl Oldham. The groom's father, Rev. Cyrus J. Kephart of Dayton, Ohio officiated. The bride was handsomely gowned in white Persian lawn and carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations. The bride has made her home with Mr. & Mrs. Dorcas for a number of years. She is a graduate of the Tipton High School, and has been a successful teacher. She has been one of Tipton's most beautiful girls with graces of character and mind which have made her admired and loved among a large circle of friends. The groom is a son of Dr. Kephart, formerly president of Wester college. He holds the position of chief clerk in the office of his brother, Mr. A. P. Kephart, storekeeper for the Santa Fe railroad at Argentine, Kansa, and is a promising young man of fine character and worth. After a short honeymoon spent in visiting friends in Iowa, Mr. & Mrs. Kephart will make their home in Argentine, a suburb of Kansas City, where they will be followed by the best wishes of many friends. An incident of the wedding was the presentation of many valuable and useful gifts to the bridal pair. Among those present from a distant were: Miss Carrie Oldham, Cresco Iowa; Mr Coyne Oldham, Toledo, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus J.
