    • From the Find a Grave record:

      Thomas Champion, 5th known child and 2nd surviving son of the immigrant Henry Champion by his 1st unamed wife, b. of record in Apr. 1656 (day missing) at Saybrook, Conn. He d. of record Apr. 5, 1705 at Lyme, Conn. Thomas has no known surviving gravestone, but is assumed to have been interred at Lyme at Duck River Cemetery where his father Henry and older brother Henry, Jr. have extant gravestones.

      On Aug. 23, 1682 of record at Lyme, Conn., Thomas m. Hannah Brockway, dau. of Wolston Brockway and Hannah Briggs, b. of record Sept. 14, 1664 at Lyme. When and where Hannah died has yet to be confirmed. They had eight known children born at Lyme:

      • i. Hannah Champion, b. Feb. 13, 1683/4; m. Matthew Beckwith.

      • ii. Sarah Champion, b. Mar. 8, 1687/8; m. Nov. 4, 1705 at Lyme, Stephen Scovil.

      • iii. Thomas Champion, Jr., b. Jan. 21, 1690/1; m. June 21, 1709 at Lyme, Elizabeth Wade, his stepsister. Nine children recorded at Lyme.

      • iv. Mary Champion, b. July 31, 1693, d. Dec. 12, 1770 at East Haddam, Conn.; m. as his 2nd wife, Timothy,4 Fuller (Liet. Samuel,3 Dr. Matthew,2 Edward,1 of the Mayflower), who d. Nov. 30, 1748 at East Haddam. Eight children of the marriage recorded at East Haddam.

      • v. Henry Champion, b. May 2, 1695, d. Nov. 26, 1779 at East Haddam; m. Mehitable,5 Rowley (Moses,4 Rowley Elizabeth,3 Dr. Matthew,2 Edward,1 Fuller of the Mayflower), who d. Oct. 4, 1775 at East Haddam. Seven children of the family.

      • vi. Deborah Champion, b. Apr. 26, 1697, d. Aug. 22, 1778 at Norwich, Conn.; m. Ebenezer Johnson, son of John, b. Jan. 25, 1693/4 at Norwich, Conn. where he d. Apr. 13, 1779. Eight children of the family.

      • vii. Elizabeth Champion, b. July 1, 1699, d. Feb. 18, 1768 at Lebanon, Conn.; m. John Crocker, s. Samuel Crocker and Hannah Wolcott, b. Jan 16, 1700/1 at Norwich, Conn. He d. Oct. 22, 1768 at Lebanon, Conn. Eleven children of the family.

      • viii. Bridget Champion, b. circa 1702; neither her birth nor possible marriage is shown in the Lyme vital records, but was living unmarried at Lyme on 23 Jan. 1725/6, when included as a named child and living heir of her father in the distribution of her father's estate. She may have died soon thereafter as her brother Thomas Jr. had a dau. named Bridget b. at Lyme May 16, 1728.
