SECOND GENERATION. VI.
David Goodrich, of Wethersfield, Conn., was twice married.
1. To Hannah Wright, daughter of Thomas Wright, of Wethersfield, March 7, 1689. She was born March 10, 1671, and died April 27, 1698, aged 28, nearly. 2. To Prudence Churchill, daughter of Benjamin Churchill, of Wethersfield, December 1, 1698. She was born July 2. 1678. Mrs. Prudence Goodrich died May 9, 1752, in the 74th year of her age.
Col. David Goodrich died January 23, 1755, in the 88th year of his age. He was a Lieut. Colonel in the Old French War.
Children,—by his first wife.
45. Josiah, born June 15, 1690. Settled in Wethersfield, but subsequently removed to Tolland, Conn. He was twice married. 1. To Sarah Porter, daughter of Samuel Porter, Esq, of Hadley, Mass., December 5, 1711. She died at Wethersfield, July, 1726, aged 34. 2. To Sarah Mix, daughter of Rev. Stephen Mix, of Wethersfield, about 1727. Josiah Goodrich, Esq., died at Tolland, in 1781, aged 41. His widow, Mrs. Sarah Goodrich, died at Wethersfield, 1748. Children, by his first wife,—Josiah, born August 22,1717. Aaron, born 1719. Samuel, born 1721, and died. Children, by his second wife,—John, born 1728." David, born 1729.
46. Elizabeth, born November 19, 1691. Married to Allen Goodrich, son of John Goodrich, all of Wethersfield, December 29, 1709. He afterward re-moved to Farmington, Conn., where she died August 25, 1746, aged 55.
47. Elizur, born March 30, 1693. Settled in Wethersfield. Was married to Anna Talcott, daughter of Cornet Samuel Talcott, of Wethersfield, April 22, 1714. Col. Elizur Goodrich died April 4,1774, aged 81. His widow, Mrs. Anna Goodrich, died January 3,1776, aged 83.
48. David, born December 8, 1694.
49 Abigail, born April 2, 1697. Died September 23,1712.
Children by his Second Wife.
50. Hezekiah born January 28, 1700 -Settled in Wethersfield. Was married to Honor Deming, daughter of Samuel Deming, deceased, of Wethersfield, October 10, 1729. He died 1732. After his death, she was married to Dr. Thomas Perrin, of Wethersfield, July 5, 1733. Children of Hezekiah Goodrich, and of Honor, his wife,—Elizur, born 1730. Honor, born 1732, was twice married. 1. To Charles Whiting, of Norwich, Conn., May 18, 1749, by whom she had 6 children,—and after his death, 2. To Rev. Joshua Belden, of Wethersfield, Newington Society, November 14, 1774. She was his second wife. Anna, his first wife, died October 29, 1773, in her 47th year. Mrs. Honor Belden, alias Whiting, died August 21, 1801, in her 70th year. Rev. Joshua Belden died July 23, 1813, aged 89. Child, by her second husband, one only,—Hezekiah, born February 17, 1778, died March 22, 1849, being at the time of his death, Clerk of the Town of Wethersfield.
51. Prudence born June 18, 1701---Married David Hubbard, Esq., of Eastbury Society, Glastenbury, and after his death, Judah Holcomb, Esq. David Hubbard, Esq., died October 13, 1760, in the 63d year of his age. Mrs. Prudence Hubbard, alias Holcomb, died November 29, 1783, in the 83d year of her age. By this marriage," David Hubbard, Esq., had a number of children, among them, Elizur Hubbard, born in 1736. married Lois Wright, daughter of .lames Wright, of Wethersfield. She died September 15, 1794, aged 49. After her death he was married to Huldah _____. She died April 26, 1807, aged 55. Capt. Elizur Hubbard died September 14, 1818, aged 82. By his first wife, Capt. Hubbard had several children, among them, David E. Hubbard, bap. March 15, 1778, and married to Pamelia Hollister, daughter of Elisha and Penelope Hollister, of Glastenbury, October 6, 1799. She was baptized April 26, 1781.

54. Hannah born August 2, 1707.
55. Jeremiah born September 9, 1709---Settled in Wethersfield. Was married to Ruth Kimberly, daughter of Thomas Kimberly, Esq., of Glastenbury, July 6, 1732.
56. Ann born February 14, 1712.
57. Zebulon born November 22, 1713.
58. Benjamin born November 18, 1715.
59. Abigail born January 18, 1718.
60. Charles born August 7, 1720.---Settled in Wethersfield. Married Mary ____. , (supposed Mary Belden, daughter of Samuel Belden.) Died 1752, leaving children,—David, born 1746. Abigail, born 1748. Dorcas, born 1750. Mary, born May, 1742.
