So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

  • Notes
    • Many online pedigrees of Allan Hotchkiss of Whitchurch give his parents as Richard Hotchkiss and Miss Soulton. But this is a misreading of the Visitation of Bedfordhsire, which refers to earlier generations. Following wills, land records, and parish registers in Shropshire identify several later generations of Hotchkiss families at Cotton, near Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Burial & baptism of daughter Isabell appear on Wem register. 'Allyn Hochkys of Cotton, Salop, gentleman' was surety for the performance of the covenants of George Benyon's marriage contract with John Howell (1605), and he also undertook the inventory of George's estate in probate in 1610 (Joseph Morris). Named in the will of George's son Thomas Benyon in 1624.
