Hamilton, Ill. --- Dr. Ralph D. Barton, 67, of Hamilton was found dead in his car by police on Highway 96 about a half-mile south of the Warsaw Y at 5:45 p. m. Tuesday. He died of an apparent heart attack. He was born June 11, 1908 in Cornell, ill., the late son of Frank and Martha Gamblin Barton. He married Evelyn M. Millikin on June 26, 1937 in Colchester, ill. Dr. Barton worked at a clinic in Quincy, ill. He was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Illinois and American Optometric Assn. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Nancy) Bavisotto of Elk Grove, Ill.; tow sons, Terrence of Crete, Neb., and Jerrold of Wheaton, Ill.; a brother, Thomas of Bloomington, Ind.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton.
