Terrill, who married Charles Arthur Millikin, both died in May of 1882. Ralph Millikin, Colchester, Dies; The Daily Journal, Macomb, Illinois Monday September 14, 1964. Column 5 page 2: Ralph Millikin, 84, retired rural mail carried and real estate dealer, died Saturday evening at his home in Colchester. Funeral services were scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon at the Jones' Mortuary in Colchester. Burial was to be in Mt. Auburn cemetery. (Block 7 Lot 27.) The Rev. Ernest Louderman and the Rev. John Powers were to conduct the services. Mr. Millikin was born Nov. 3, 1879, in Colchester, a son of Charles and Eliza Terrill Millikin. He married Myrtle Welch on May 7, 1902. He was a member of the Colchester Methodist Church and Sunday School superintendent for more than 30 years. He was a rural mail carried for 37 years. He was a charter member of the Easter Sunrise Service committee, Colchester fire chief for several years. A director of the Colchester Cemetery Association Board, and a member of the committee for the construction of Argyle Lake. He is survived by his widow; two sons, George Millikin of Macomb and Robert Millikin of Portage, Indiana; two daughters; Mrs. Grace Wegehenkel of Hamilton and Mrs. Evelyn Barton of Maywood; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A daughter, Marian, died previously. He was raised by the Terrill family after both of his parents died in May of 1884.
