Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire, seven miles southwest of Grantham, off the A607. The castle was built by Robert de Toeni and was in the Albini family for several generations. It then passed, by Isabel, to the Ros family. Rochester Castle is close to Rochester Bridge in Kent. William d'Albini was in command of the Castle in 1215 when it was under seige for five months by the forces of King John. Corfe Castle in Dorset on the A351 highway halfway between Swanage and Wareham. William d'Albini was held prisoner at Corfe in 1216.
