Joseph Smith Sr., first patriarch of the last dispensation, foreordained by the Lord with his wife, Lucy Mack, to be the earthly parents of the Prophet Joseph Smith was fruit from royal blood lines and perpetuated that fruit. “The Lord had his eye [on Joseph Smith], and upon his father, and upon his father’s father, and upon their progenitors clear back to Abraham, and from Abraham to the flood, from the flood to Enoch, and from Enoch to Adam. He has watched that family and that blood as it has circulated from its foundation to the birth of that man…” Brigham Young (JD, Vol. 7, pgs. 289-290)
This web site is designed to develop and make as accurate as possible this blood line. We welcome all who have an interest in furthering this research to participate with us and document the legacy that was left for us, biographically and genealogically. A great deal of time and work has been given towards the accuracy of the records already contained within these pages. However, it is not expected to be infallibly accurate, family history is an ongoing effort. Nevertheless, it becomes more accurate as the research continues.
