| Notes |
- The 1910 US Census for 86 School Street, St Louis Ward 20, St Louis (Independeent City), Missouri: Married less than a year, Clarence (age 21) and Winnifred (18) have no children. He is working as an "ornamental glass worker". They have no children but are sharing a house with Harry & Margaret Capell and their 5-yr old daughter, Alice. "I have an oral history by my father Gordon that I taped on January 16, 1997. In listing my Grandfather Vance's siblings, he says there was an Uncle Clarence born between Vance and Aunt Violet. Clarence was in the real estate business in the Chicago, IL area. I have a photo album with newspaper clippings of the death notice for Stewart Vance Keeling, October 12, 1916, "Beloved son of Clarence W. and Winfred M. Keeling…Chicago, Ill." I don't have documentation to confirm whether or not Clarence was a sibling of my grandfather." [Source: Vance G Keeling by e-mail to Liane Kennedy - 17 July 2008] The 1920 Census - unable to locate Clarence. Winnifred is living in Chicago Ward 13, Cook Co., Illinois. She is 29 years old and a lodger. She still lists herself as married and her occupation as a manicurist.
