Don C. S. MILLIKEN and Mary S. Gridley on the 14th of March 1867 by Isaiah S. Bailey J.P. Her parents were: Timothy and Roxanna (Esterbrook) Gridley. Mary was a native of Montebello township, Hancock county, Illinois. She was buried in the Oakwood cemetery in Hamilton, Illinois. On the Membership Record Book of the RLDS church she is located on page 297, Rock Creek Branch, Hancock county, Illinois as: Mary S. Milliken, born 22 October 1847, near Carthage, Hancock county, Illinois. She was baptized into the RLDS church on 22 July 1877 by S. J. Salisbury and confirmed by him. She died 17 April 1881 On the 1880 census the family is located in Montebello township, Hancock county, Illinois. On this census her brother and sister are living with them. Elsworth Gridley born about 1861 and Laura Gridley born about 1864. There is no newspaper obituary on her in the Hancock County Historical Society files located in Carthage, Illinois
