So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

    • BIOGRAPHY: Bunker Hill as shown in a painting by John Trumbull. Troops were likely trained by Samuel Smith. William Duty, the brother of Mary Duty, Asael Smith’s wife is in the New Hampshire regiment.

John Trumbull used descendants of the actual participants in the battle to paint his picture. The painting depicts the death of Joseph Warren near the beginning of the battle. We will cameo it and use it to depict the last moments of the battle. The last canon ball was a fluke and hit Major McClary throwing his body into the air and then into the lap of William Duty. It was commented that William Duty was a very brave man.
