So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

    • Joel Campbell and Isaac Fuller came with their families in 1805. They came form Manniscotton, Orange County , New York. They came in with ox teams and drove several cows in with them. They made their first settlement on Bentley Creek about one mile form the State line. The Campbell's moved away about 1829. Rumor says they became Mormons and some of them went west with Joseph Smith. We have tried to find some connection between them and Mormon Hill, but have not succeeded. Joel Campbell family at the time consisted of his wife and brother Benjamin, and seven sons, Joshua, Ezekiel, Joel, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Benoni and William.
