Hey Dad, do u remember your grandma? Agnes Campbell Clive?
Dad Andersen-Friday, March 13, 2015 5:26 PM
2 Answer it question about great grandma Andersen, I do remember remember her a little. I was 8-10 yrs old and taking piano lessons from her, with Kathy and later Mike.
Leslie Melara-
Oh wow nice!
How often would u guys go over?
Dad Andersen-
Once a week 4 piano lessons. We had dinner w the grandparents also.
Leslie Melara-
What was she like?
Dad Andersen-
I just remember her giving us lessons.
Leslie Melara-
Do u remember your grandmas cooking?
Dad Andersen-
I remember bbq ribs w potatoes and veggies.
Leslie Melara-
Yuuuummmmmmm!!!!!!
How did u feel about her being ur piano teacher?
Dad Andersen-
I was okay with it. Being 10, I was interested in being active, and keeping myself occupied with what I wanted to do.
Leslie Melara-
Hahaha that makes sense :-) did she have pets?
Dad Andersen-
No. She was getting up in years and just her and grandpa lived there. A small two new house, 1 bath. A garage separated from the house by the yard. They lived in los Angeles.
Leslie Melara-
Why did they die?
Dad Andersen-
I was told she does from an illness, but not what. He died after telemarketing. I never heard of what he died.
Leslie Melara-
After telemarketing?
Dad Andersen-
Sorry. Getting married again.
Leslie Melara-
Wow I didn't know he remarried.
Who was it that took u to piano lessons every week?
Dad Andersen-
My parents.
Leslie Melara-
Oh so it was a family weekly trip! Nice!
What do u remember the most about your grandma and grandpa?
Dad Andersen-
Piano lessons. Food.trip to los Angeles. Them talking with my parents.
Leslie Melara-
Did the trips to LA to visit moms family all the time ever remind u of visiting your grandparents? (Leslie Melara, her two brothers, mom and dad would often go visit Leslie's mother's family in Los Angeles through the weekends)
Dad Andersen-
Sometimes, bit not often. I didn't drive when young. When visiting yoli's family I was usually focused on getting us there in one piece.
Leslie Melara-
Haha makes sense :-) thanks for sharing that all with me. Do u know if u have any pictures with her from all those visits?
Dad Andersen-
I don't remember any pictures. Have to ask my father.
