  Frank came up from California to check out Bill Adams. He sat at the bar and talked to him. They drank and talked together. He told Gerry, my mother, that he didn't think Bill was going to do anything the coming weekend as he had threatened to do so. Frank worked for the FBI and when the family told him their concerns of the threat about Gerry being killed, he came up to find out all the information he could and to check Bill Adams out and to see what he, Frank, thought of Bill. That coming weekend Bill did kill Gerry, Frank has never contacted the family again since then.
