    • Dorothy Yates Clift, 81, our beloved mom, grandmother and friend joinedher Heavenly Father Wednesday February 18, 1998 after a courageous battlewith cancer. Born March 10, 1916 in Salt Lake City to William Thomas and MaryElizabeth Evans Yates. She married Francis L. "Bud" Clift January 20,1934 in Salt Lake City, Ut. She was a member or the LDS Church. Enjoyedher family, friends and very much enjoyed going on vacations and watchingthe Jazz games. She is survived by her children: Darlene Van Cott; Raymond Clift (Mary);Daniel Clift (Terry); Leslie Clift (Mary Lee) and Gary Clift Sherry; 19grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.Preceded in death by her husband, one sister, five brothers and awonderful son-in-law, Donald Van Cott. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21, 1998, 12 noon atLarkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple where friend may call Friday 6 to8 p.m. and Saturday 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Burial in Larkin SunsetGardens, Sandy, Utah. A very special thanks to all the care givers who provided comfort duringher illness.
