So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

    • --Other Fields Henry de Percy, 1st Earl of Northumberland, 4th Lord Percy of Alnwick. He was born in 1342. He was a distinguished military commander in the reign of Edward III, who, assisting as marshal of England at the coronation of Richard II, was advanced on the same day, July 16, 1377, to the Earldom of Northumberland, with remainder to his heirs general; and, like a barony in fee, transmissable, it would appear, to female as well as male heirs. He married, first, July 12, 1358, Margaret, daughter of Ralph, Lord Neville of Raby, and his wife Alice de Audley. Margaret died May 12, 1372 and Henry married, second, Maud, widow of Earl of Angus, and sister and heir of Anthony, Lord Lucy. Anthony settled upon Henry and his heirs the Honour and Castle of Cockermouth, with other great estates, on the condition that the arms of his sister should be forever quartered with those of the Percys. He was elected Knight of the Garter C1384. After being proclaimed a traitor by Richard II he sided with his son, Sir Henry Percy "Hotspur," and Henry, Duke of Lancaster, to dethrone Richard. They succeeded at making the Duke of Lancaster King Henry IV, in the year 1399. Henry and his son Hotspur, and his brother the Earl of Worcester, rebelled against Henry IV in 1403. Hotspur fell at the Battle of Shrewsbury July 21, 1403 and Thomas, Earl of Worcester was beheaded after the battle. Henry died in arms against the King, at Branham Moor, near Halsewood, February 29, 1407/08. His honours became forfeited under an attainder, but were restored to his grandson in 1414.
