    • John Grant, 4th of Freuchie was the son of James Grant, 3rd of Freuchie and Elizabeth Forbes.1 He married, firstly, Lady Margaret Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 3rd Earl of Atholl and Grizel Rattray, before 19 February 1539.2 He married, secondly, Lady Janet Leslie, daughter of George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes, before 8 March 1557/58. He died on 3 June 1585.3
      Baillie (steward) Kinloss Abbey.3 On 25 October 1577 he was granted by charter the Parkhill estate, Fifeshire, following its forfeiture by John Leslie
