      SIR THOMAS GREEN HIGH SHERIFF OF NORTHAMPTONSHIRE was born 10 February 1400 at Greens Norton, Northamptonshire, England, to Sir Thomas Greene, Lord and Earl (1369-1417), and Mary Talbot (-1434.) Thomas Green married (1) *Philippa Ferrers before 16 December 1421; (2) Mary Bellers 1434l (3) Lucy la Zouche.

      Thomas Green was Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1454. He was Knighted, Most Honorable Order of Bath by HRM Edward IV in 1461.

      Sir Thomas and Philippe have alabaster effigies in the north aisle of the Chancel, at Norton.

      Thomas Green died 18 January 1462, age 61, at Greens Norton, Northamptonshire, England.

      PHILIPPA FERRERS was born about 1393 of Chartley, Staffordshire, England, to Robert de Ferrers, 4th Baron Ferrers of Chartley (1357-1413) and Margaret le Despenser (-1415.) She married Sir Thomas Green before 16 December 1421.

      Philippa was living in 1427, but died by 1434 when Sir Thomas married Mary Bellers.
