    • The Macomb Journal Monday January 4th, 1936, Column 6, page 2: Marian Millikin of Colchester Dies. Miss Marian Millikin, 32, passed away at her home in Colchester at 10:10 o'clock Saturday night following an illness of long duration. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Colchester M. E. Church. Burial will be at Mt. Auburn cemetery. (Lot 27 Block 7, stone is just next to her mother and fathers stone south of theirs) Miss Millikin was born in Colchester on April 21, 1903, being 32 years, 8 months, and 13 days old at the time of her death. She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Myrtle (Welch) Millikin; two brothers, George and Robert,, both of Colchester; two sisters, Grace Wegehenkel of Hamilton, and Evelyn of Colchester, and a host of friends who mourn her passing. She graduated from Colchester high school with the class of 1921. For the past six years she was employed by the Central Illinois Public Service company as book-keeper. She was a member of the M.E. church at Colchester for 32 years.
