Millikin, 90, of Niota, formerly of LaHarpe, died at 9:10 a. m. at the McDonough District Hospital. She was born July 29, 1908 to Charles and Lula E. (VanWinkle) Green in Brooklyn, Ill. She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Gerhardt of Niota; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Dane and Ivan Green; and one sister, Vada Woods. Mrs. Millikin had operated a beauty shop in Roseville and Industry. She had lived in Colchester and LaHarpe. For the past five years she lived at her daughter's home in Niota. Services are 1:30 p. m. Tuesday at Banks & Beals Funeral Home at LaHarpe. A committal service will be held at the Brooklyn Cemetery at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday in Brooklyn, Ill. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p. m. Monday and Tuesday until the time of the services. A memorial fund has been established for the American Diabetes Foundation.
