Notes - Dara or Darda Clan Leader Tribe of Judah (1 Chr 2:6-7) I Kings 4:31 and I Chron. 2:6 - Then we find Darda, grandson of Judah, called by Josephus Dardanus, who gave the name Dardania to part of western Asia Minor. Dardanus was ancestor of the Trojan line of kings. The tracings of genealogy come through Trojans, Sicambrians, Franks, Scandinavians and ancient British to the present inhabitants of northern and western Europe. From these we have the modern lines of Saxons and Danes, the Normans and others. Blood line of Ephraim (maternal line? because Helenus RIN 44283 is a female.)
