  ! Sources: (1) Family Records in poss of Mrs. Hellen Peirce Zaletel, Washougal WA; (2) Genealogy Records of Nellie Faith Hale mother of wife, copy in poss of Earl H. Peirce, Provo, UT. Upon our visit to Slovenia and because of family documentation in possession of Anton Zaletel's Daughter Ruby, we were able to visit the archive in Ljubljana and record documentation for births of Anton and his siblings and his parents and great grandparents. I of course want to someday return to finish recording information of the Zupancic family but have not been able to as of yet. Please excuse I do not have a keyboard to make the marks over the c to write the name Zupancic correctly. I am the granddaughter of Anton Zaletel Jr. and have been to the town he was born, stood on the place that the archive records said he and his mother were born. He was born in a small town in what is now Slovenia that is called Verh Dolenji house number 8 ( which is no longer standing) The house stood up on top of a great hill surrounded by vineyards, it overlooks the valley and the vineyards around it. There is a town near that is down in the valley called Dobernic which is close to the larger city called Novo Mesto where we also found living relatives that still own the house where Anton Zaletel Sr. was born in Gorenji Ajdovic house number 13. Also other relatives still live in the town of Gorenji Ajdovic just south east of house number 13. If you would like more information on this family I will gladly provide what I have.
