    • In the 1860 census taken in Pepin county, Wisconsin, she is listed as Maria M. (names after her grandmother, Maria Davis?), age 3, born Pennsylvania. The fourth child of Silas D. and Lucinda Bennett In 1880 we find her in Wabesha county, Minnesota listed as Margaret M., age 22, the wife of Mitchall B. Morse, age 38, born Pennsylvania and a boarder, his nephew John C. Bosworth. Judging by the ages of the children and their places of birth, they had moved to Minnesota in 1879. Her father's obituray states that one of his surviving children was a daughter Maggie of Minneapolis. "When John C. Bennett came to Minneapolis he stayed in a house with Louis Bogner (age 33) and wife Margaret W. (age 42) Margaret was the right age to be our Margaret (1900 Census). They had been married 6 months and Margaret had 10 chiildren, 5 still living, so it was at least her second marriage. James F. Bennett aslo stayed with the Bogners' and was listed in the 1920 census as Louis's brother-in-law. Louis (actually spelled Lewis) was married to Margaret W., making her James' sister ... "
