- Donnchadh or Donogh, son of Brian Boru and his third wife, Gormliath, began fighting with his half-brother, Tiege, in the year of their father's death. He thus became King of Munster, and also reigned an the one hundred and seventy-sixth Monarch of Ireland. He had a daughter: Darbhforgal, of whom further. (J.
