So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

  • Notes
    • Payne Turberville inherited the manor and castle of Coity from his father Sir Richard Turberville. The Coity inheritance passed, after the death of Payne, to his eldest son Gilbert and, on the death of Gilbert's son without issue, to Richard Turberville, the second son of Payne. Richard Turberville also died without issue having settled the Coity inheritance on the male heirs of his sisters Katherine (wife of Roger Berkerolles), Margaret (wife of Richard Stackpole), Agnes (wife of John de la Bere), Sarah (wife of William Gamage) and another sister, name unknown (the wife of John Flemming). On Richard's death the inheritance was claimed by Laurence Berkerolles the son of Roger and Katherine. On the death of Laurence Berkerolles, without issue, in 1414 there was much confusion over who should inherit, with descendents of Berkerolles, Stackpole, de la Bere and Gamage all in contention. Eventually the manor and castle were settled on a descendent of Sarah Gamage.
