    • BIOGRAPHY: Sir Thomas Beaumont, Seigneur of Basqueville was born after 1381. He was the son of John de Beaumont, 4th Lord Beaumont and Catherine Everingham.
      He married Philippine Maureward, daughter of Thomas Maureward, in 1426.
      He died in 1457.

      He held the office of Captain of Château-Gaillard. He held the office of Warden of the Cinque Ports. He held the office of Constable of Dover Castle. He gained the title of Seigneur of Basqueville, in Normandie in 1426.
