So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

    • Stephen Gee was a selectman and had a clothier shop in 1775. He later built a gristmill (Hamilton Child, Gazetteer ol Cheshire County, New Hampshire [Syracuse, N. Y., 1885], 323, 334). Stephen and Solomon were both born in Lyme, Connecticut, the sons of Solomon and Deborah (Huntley) Gee. Source: NEJHR Vol 134 pp 56-59 " What is also true two years later wlth reference to Gee Mill. A deed 1n 1774 from Ellsha Mack to Stephen Gee conveys 3/4 of the Mill Lot, 3/4 of a saw mill thereon and all of a corn or grist mill. Later on Nathan Huntley conveys the remainlng 1/4. Other references to thls mill places lndlcate building as early as 1770. Wlth these two saw mills located ln the part of the town belng settled thus early before the real exodus of I767-7O there was no occaslon for the labourious building of log houses, sills, plates posts and rafters and joists were on the house site the scorlng and broad axes soon fltted these for their proper places. Plank from the saw mill set on end and plnned to the slill and plate wlth openlngs for door and windows rnade the walls raftors and jolsts in place wlth boards from the saw mill and roof and floor were complete, parititions as needed were of board from the mill, Shutters and doorsfurnished by the same mill and we have the completed house."
