    • I have seen on the internet people giving Dorothy the maiden name of "Heald." I have looked long and hard for any proof, and to my knowledge it simply does not exist. There was a John Heald with a wife Dorothy who lived in Massachusetts at the right time, but there is simply no proof that Dorothy was their daughter. There were lots of girls named Dorothy living in Massachusetts.
