- SIR THOMAS GREEN HIGH SHERIFF OF NORTHAMPTONSHIRE was born 10 February 1400 at Greens Norton, Northamptonshire, England, to Sir Thomas Greene, Lord and Earl (1369-1417), and Mary Talbot (-1434.) Thomas Green married (1) *Philippa Ferrers before 16 December 1421; (2) Mary Bellers 1434l (3) Lucy la Zouche.
Thomas Green was Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1454. He was Knighted, Most Honorable Order of Bath by HRM Edward IV in 1461.
Sir Thomas and Philippe have alabaster effigies in the north aisle of the Chancel, at Norton.
Thomas Green died 18 January 1462, age 61, at Greens Norton, Northamptonshire, England.

PHILIPPA FERRERS was born about 1393 of Chartley, Staffordshire, England, to Robert de Ferrers, 4th Baron Ferrers of Chartley (1357-1413) and Margaret le Despenser (-1415.) She married Sir Thomas Green before 16 December 1421.
Philippa was living in 1427, but died by 1434 when Sir Thomas married Mary Bellers.

Biography
Sir Thomas Greene, Knight, of Greene's Norton, co. Northampton, died 14 Dec 1417, Sheriff of Northamptonshire 1416.[1] He was sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1416. He was seised of lands in nine counties. He is designated “of Green’s Norton, Boughton, Canons Ashby, Hardwick, Sewell (in Blakesley), Northamptonshire.” He was age 22 in 1391/92. Burial: Norton, Northampton, England.
Most genealogies show him married to Mary Talbot 1382-13 APR 1433, abt 1398.
MARY TALBOT, married (1st) before 23 October 1398 THOMAS GREENE, Knt., son and heir of Thomas Greene, Knt., by Margery, daughter and heiress of John Mablethorpe, Knt. He was born about 1369-70. They had one son, Thomas, Knt. SIR THOMAS GREENE died 14 Dec. 1417, and was buried at Green's Norton, Northamptonshire. His widow, Mary, married (2nd) before 25 July 1418 JOHN NOTTINGHAM (or NOTYNGHANM), Esq., Mary died 13 April 1434, and was buried at Green's Norton, Northamptonshire.
Sir Thomas de Greene was knighted on the field of battle for great bravery. He married his cousin, Ela de Greene. He had a beautiful castle.
