So shall it be with my father: he shall be
called a prince over his posterity, holding
the keys of the patriarchal priesthood over the kingdom of God on earth, even the Church
of the Latter Day Saints, and he shall sit in the general assembly of patriarchs, even in
council with the Ancient of Days when he shall sit and all the patriarchs with him and shall
enjoy his right and authority under the direction of the Ancient of Days.

He was the leader of the Vikings who established themselves in Normandy in 911. Rollo was of Norse background, but most of his followers were from Denmark. These Viking warriors, whowere to become known as Normans, replaced the Franklin ruling class. They encouraged other Danes to settle the new land with them, as well as other adventurous types. They adopted many of the Frankish customs and language, and married into Frankish families. Rollo married, first, Gisella, a daughter of Charles III, King of France. Rollo married, second, his former mistress Poppa (Papie), daughter of Berenger, a noble. Rolf, the Norseman, who conquered Normandy in the year 912 A.D. The children of Poppa were legitimized by the marriage. Rollo died at Rouen in 931. Sources: 1. Plantagenet Ancestry 2. Magna Charta Barons 3. Moriarty 4. The Normans 5. Britains Kings and Queens 6.
