      he responded to the call of Governor Andros and his Council,
      and with John Tyler and Jonathan French, of Boxford, joined in the expedition
      against the French, serving seventeen weeks. He married 6 September.
      1694, Mary, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Perkins) Ramsdell,
      born 27 January 1674/5, in Topsfield.
